MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has suspended classes at all levels in both public and private schools for two days in the provinces of Luzon and the Visayas due to the forecasted major impact of Super Typhoon Uwan (international name: Fung-wong) in the country.
Under Memorandum Circular No. 106 signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on Sunday, classes are suspended from November 10 (Monday) to November 11 (Tuesday) in 12 out of the 18 regions in the country:
