Digital Snapshots
Sometimes, you just feel like taking a picture, you know? That’s how I felt that day. I opened up Photo Booth of my friend laptop.I even threw on a cute little heart filter, just for fun and started snapping some selfies. No real reason, I just wanted to capture how I was feeling in that moment. The song “City Girl” was playing in the background, which kind of set the mood, I guess. I wasn’t trying to be perfect or anything, just being myself. Messy hair, no makeup, just me. Maybe I’ll look back at these pictures later and remember this day, this feeling of just being content and carefree. Or maybe they’ll just be silly memories to laugh at. Either way, I’m glad I took them. It’s like freezing a little piece of time.
